There were 4 ladies total in the women's jewelry department in Dillard's and not one of them asked if we needed any assistance. Not surprised because we went in last week for perfume and 3 women plus a guard did not say or ask if we needed any assistance. I find it odd because these employees make commission of off customers purchases. I asked to verify from the employee who did offer help which from a different department. She went to wave at women from that department and I told her not to wave them over because they seen us walk in and I would like her to help us. She was very kind and helpful with our purchases. Most of Dillard's employees seem they are pretty much getting paid to be mannequins. Back to jewelry counter, we were wondering around the counters searching for chains for about 10 minutes and did not come across any and still no assistance so we headed over to Macy's and hit the jackpot. 60% sale plus additional 20% off for pre-sale / pickup feb 4. Ended up choosing a beautiful chain with the help of Fanny at MACY's.
