| - After reading all reviews about this Bacchaanal buffet in Caesars Palace, on the reviews this restaurant should be the best in the strip of Las Vegas.
Monday the restaurant was half empty? (Monday April 27 2015) where is line up at around dinner time (6 PM)? , we were a bit surprised but went in any way since the reviews are great.
The dining area is dividing into few sections with tables on the open floor; it can be cater the large amount of guess. Foods section on the left side along the walls and deserts section is located in the mid end of the back.
Cold foods: snow crabs leg cutting by half (very salty), crab craws, (not fresh on the one I had) fresh oysters, cocktails shrimps...
Chinese foods: With many varieties from BBQ Ducks (ok) to stir fry veg. (Very good) dim sum, Soups noodles , Congee ...the hot and souse soup (the worst I ever had).
Meat section ( carving station) :Beef with a huge piece and so rare ( I pass) Italian hot sauces ( very good ) Lamb chop ( way too hard to chew ) and other ...
Mexican: hot grill peppers (very good) and more...
Sea foods section: Salmon fish in the tiny dishes (very good), Fishes dishes, clams in hot back bean (very good).
Deserts: all sweet I pass but I try most of the fresh fruits, Papaya (no tastes). Pineapple (very rare), water melon (good)...
I am a picky eater , ( only comments on the one I try) therefore if you are like me this is wasting money way to enjoy a nice dinner, I was holding a plate in my hand walking up and down many times but could not find the food that would really easy my craving . The price is almost $ 75 CND per person; ( $ 57.29 US) I would rather pay for a Gourmet meal elsewhere! Sorry :)
PS: this review is taking into a consideration of a picky eater (my rate only 2 stars)
