Deliciousness - 3/5
Happiness - 3/5
Despite the utter temptation of fried chicken from nearby restaurants, I went to this small healthy eatery. The menu is huge, with rice/quinoa bowls, wraps, salads, soup, breakfast items and plenty of drinks (coffee and juices... not alcohol!).
I got an egg and chicken sausage sandwich (on a bialy) and then a couple of bagels for the kids. I also got the mushroom soup, which was really thick and flavorful. And it was portabella based, which is great if you are a mushroom fan. The sandwich was OK but honestly lacked taste (it sorely needed some heat). The bialy was bland as well, which I view as a capital sin. The sausage was a bit on the chewier side. The kids devoured their bagels (and stole a bit of my soup too).
This is a unique option that prioritizes drive thru. So when you have the willpower to go healthy while driving, this will meet your goal (even if it won't blow you away).
