  • Terrible experience and communication! We hired LA to put down pavers, extend irrigation, and update our landscaping. We were initially impressed with the design and reasonable prices. I wish we would've seen the low prices as a red flag. We paid them to remove 3 palm trees. They "removed" two by cutting them off at the stump. They initially forgot to remove the third and put down the landscaping around it, so when we pointed out the mistake, they "removed" that tree but there was a big hole in the landscaping. They had used the tree that was supposed to go in the removed one's place in a different spot (with no irrigation). We were forced to pay for another palm to fix the mistake. The landscaping initially looked nice, but a few months in, it was clear the irrigation wasn't working properly. We've now had to hand water all of the landscaping (exactly what irrigation is supposed to avoid). Before we realized the irrigation wasn't working, we lost two plants. We contacted Ryan repeatedly, over several months through the website and his email to try and get someone to come and diagnose the problem and replace the dead plants (they were guaranteed for a year). Ryan responded once, to our 5th or 6th email, saying someone would come out that week. No one came out and it's been radio silence. We had two other companies come look at the problem. Both said the irrigation was clogged because it was set up so poorly and we would need it redone. Between that and replacing the dead plants, we'll be out another $400+ on top of the thousands we paid LA just to fix LA's work. Look elsewhere if you want a responsive, reliable company. I will never use LA again and have already warned friends and family to do the same.
