This is my third time renting with Fox - I'm a glutton for punishment and budget pricing.
I booked a Camaro convertible three days prior to pick up. Remember when "booking" and "reserving" meant something?
Long story short, waited 1.5 hours in line to learn that they didn't have any camaros (despite reserving one) and that they would give me a mustang instead for the same price (you know - the "subject to availability" bs).
I told him (jokingly) that the Camaro was a better car, he answered "that's your opinion", and argued with me that the Camaro was cheaper.
After realizing he had no poise or sense of customer service, I went to their website, showed him the Camaro was more expensive, and proved him wrong. Manager was "unavailable", but after continued arguing, eventually got 15% off. Yay me.
Car was filthy inside, but drove fine. TAKE THE TIME to go over car and look for damage! I found damage they didn't disclose - and you know they'd charge me for it.
Please - rent from another company. It'll be worth the slight price difference.
