  • Second time visiting EllaEms's. I sooo want to like this place especially since Granny reminds me of my Granny. I just love looking at her picture on the menu & in the restaurant. Service: A- I ordered take out and there was only one waitress who was cleaning, taking orders, etc. Price: B-A bit pricey but I can deal. Food: C/C- The food was just bland, bland, bland. No real seasoning. I'm from S. Carolina so I know down home cooking, but I was very dissapointed. I ordered the chicken (bland but fried good), fried cabbage (Ummmm so-so), and the macaroni (tasted like paper; wth)...Dont mean to be harsh but this food was not good. Seemed pretty busy so I'm guessing I'm outnumbered...Probably wont return for a 3rd time.
