  • I was a bit disappointed by the selection that Wanda's offers. I was hoping to find a simple apple pie with a wonderfully flakey crust and deliciously sweet filling. Instead, Wanda offered apple crumble. I have no doubt it was good but not the same thing. My second choice was a simple pecan pie. Unfortunately, they were all out and offered chocolate pecan instead. So as not to leave empty handed, I purchased the chocolate pecan. When I got home the chocolate pecan was pretty good. However, two of us experienced bites with a foreign taste - onion. Overall a very disappointing experience from what had been acclaimed to be Toronto's best pie.
