The only good thing about these apartments is the location. Other than that I wouldn't recommend it. First off the model unit is far from the reality of the crappy apartment you're going to receive. When we first moved in they told us our apartment would be ready on a certain date. We arranged for a U-Haul truck and were ready to go only to arrive and have them tell us the apartment wasn't ready & they just needed a few hours. Once they finally gave us the key and we walked into the apartment we were so disappointed, The paint was not completely dry so when we closed and opened the doors the paint would lift and chip off. Everything was done in a rush, it was a crappy job the tubs in the restroom were dirty and just painted over with white paint very disgusting. The floors were lifted in some places, the very few cabinets & drawers in the kitchen were peeling. The entrance door was NEVER able to stay shut unless you would lock it, which is really annoying when you're walking in and out of the apartment bringing in groceries. The sliding door to the balcony was super heavy and wouldn't slide at all regardless of the multiple times I put WD-40 on it. The large windows are very heavy and difficult to open, they automatically slide shut & the screens had holes. For the amount of money it cost to live there you would think they would rent you decent looking apartment. Also they have a bug problem and when we reported it, they accused us of bringing the bugs and charged us extra fees for the pest control to come in. the ladies at the management office were very unprofessional when handling this matter. They said that maybe my son brought the bugs from school since he was the one getting poked the most. We had to throw away our new bedroom furniture. We've never had bug problems in our previous apartments so I am certain that the bugs were already there. We started noticing how a lot of people were tossing their mattresses which leads me to think it was not just our apartment building. Regardless of the crappy unit they gave us we cleaned it up and lived there since we had already signed the contract. Once the lease was up they had plenty of hidden fees that they didn't tell us about in the beginning. Even though we thoroughly cleaned and returned the unit in a better condition than it was received they kept our deposit stating it was for cleaning fees, carpet cleaning and touch up paint on the walls. They also charge you for the utilities which are backdated two months! so you will pay for the utilities the month you move out and the month you're no longer living there. Very inconvenient. Overall our experience living here was terrible, it cost us a lot of money and our furniture. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
