  • **long review but worth it if you're considering this place as a possible new home** If I could leave a negative star review I would. We have lived here since the middle of August, so 3 months, and we have experienced nothing but hassle and inconsistency. First, let me start off by saying that when we first moved in, day 1, we were given the wrong refrigerator so I told the staff at the front and they guaranteed it to be replaced- never was- still waiting 3 months later. On the day we moved in we noticed some of the cabinets weren't fully filed, meaning they had sharp and rough edges, so we asked for maintenance to please take care of that - they never did. 3 months later it still looks terrible. Then, I receive a phone call from one of the ladies at the front desk demanding, and I honestly mean she was demanding, that I return home (at 1:30 pm on a WEDNESDAY) because she had been receiving multiple complains about my dogs barking. I have a 8lb dog and a 13lb dog, and they sleep literally all day- I like to call them cats instead of dogs. Anyway, she demands I return home because the neighbors are being disturbed and, I quote, "she can hear them barking all the way to the front office". We live in the very back of the complex, there's no possible way she could hear my combined 21 pounds of dog barking all the way in the front of this pretty big complex- that was reason #1 I was pissed. Reason #2, I explained to her that I can't just up and leave to come home, I was at work and so was my husband, yet she still demanded we come home or the authorities would be called. Lady, it was 1:30 in the AFTERNOON on a WEDNESDAY! Tell whoever is complaining to get a job and leave their apartment!!! Reason #3, when I told her I couldn't come home and I explained that if it was my dogs barking (which it wasn't) they only bark when someone is at the door (like normal dogs do) and if she just waited a few minutes or told whomever was at the door to go away, they'd stop. She said that wasn't good enough, so she called my husband. My husband was in the middle of a meeting and left to come home to walk through the door to two sound asleep dogs in the back of the bedroom...NOT BARKING!! I called and complained and asked for the leasing manager to call me back- they never did. 3 months later. Not even an apology for the rudeness and mix up. Now today, I receive a phone call that my brand new downstairs neighbors are complaining that we are being loud. Okay, I'll hear you out. They complained that we "walk too loud" and I asked what time the complaint was made, 7am.... 7 IN THE MORNING!!! Hello...we get ready for work at 7 am, yes, we are going to be walking...two people at that will be walking. don't live on the first floor if you can't handle two grown adults living their lives and preparing for their day. My husband called because I was extremely upset that this was happening...they couldn't even find the complaint in any records when they just called 20 minutes ago. Don't live here. Trust me. It's not worth the cheap rent, the "gated" community (that isn't even fully gated, anyone can just walk right in the complex), the promised "luxury" or the "pillar promise". **adding on 3/29/2016- we've now lived here for roughly 8 months, give or take, and none of what was written above has been addressed. It also took constant calling for someone to please come and fix our very clogged shower drain. People living in this community have zero respect for one another. Just a few weeks ago, possibly 2, I get to my car in the morning to go to work and there is what appears to be coca-cola speared all over my windshield, side mirror, and dripping down the side of my driver seat door. I don't drink coke- my husband doesn't drink coke. So there are two scenarios- 1) someone used my car as a cup holder while they were getting inside their car and the soda spilled and they drove away thinking that was an ok thing to do (which it's not) or 2) someone threw soda at my car thinking that was an ok thing to do (which it's not). Today, 3/29/16, my husband comes in pissed because there is what appears to be an egg or a jelly donut, some sort of gooey substance, all over his windshield- repeat possibly scenarios above. That is not okay!!!!! These are OUR vehicles! Not yours to vandalize for your pleasure! This place is a terrible place to live! I cannot wait until our lease is up to leave!
