  • I had heard of this place, but had never stopped. Coming back from the lake one weekend, we stopped by for lunch. Upon walking in I felt like I had stepped back in time. The place was simple, picnic tables, bar stools, and a pool table. There's a good mix of customers from bikers, boaters, senior citizens to young families. The staff is friendly and have quick service. The menu is simple and easy. I got a hamburger and my kid got a hotdog, both are served with a bag of chips. The burger was big, juicy and cooked to perfection. The hot dog was a jumbo dog. Best burger I've had in a long time. Now we make it a point to stop every time after a weekend at the lake. I would even considering driving up on any given night. Just be sure and bring cash or you'll have to use the atm.
