  • Event was packed and location is really too small for the successful turn-out. We went to hear the bands and this years Headliner was ELI YOUNG BAND. They are a big deal now but you'd never know it by the poor quality of the sound equipment operators. The stage set-up looked very professional but the band before Eli Young didn't sound very good so we just thought they were a local band and just average. However when Eli Young Band came on and sounded crappy too, we realized the sound guys didn't know what they were doing. Major disappointment and the event organizers should have known better. The fastest way to ruin your reputation is to do a lousy job with sound and word gets around to bands and that makes it hard for you to book good bands. After this year, you need to make sure it doesn't happen again. People paid $15 to get in, plus top dollar for beer and bbq so you had the budget to do it right. This was an amateur mistake from a group that was put on this event 5 times before. Get your act together.
