  • I went in with a 3 month free trial (fundraiser), signed up and was told I still had 90 days to cancel. I cancelled within the free trial, they took my membership card, gave me a copy of my cancellation paperwork and they still charged me. As a matter of fact they are still charging me to this day. "My cancellation was not approved" is what I am now being told. I can't find anyone higher then LEO to take this to and he continues to tell me there is nothing he can do. I tried to talk to "corporate" but it is another location (Gilbert) and they tell me only Leo can help me. To this day I am getting the run around from anyone I contact at Fitness Works. All I wanted to do was cancell my free trial and 6 months ago I was willing to just pay the cancellation fees to be done with it but I can't even seem to do that. We also stopped doing the Fitness Works fundraiser because several people came back and complained about the strong sale tactics used when redeeming them. I've used 24 hour fitness and Lifetime fitness with no problems. I would steer clear of this gym even if the classes were good simply because everything else is shady!
