| - One of my favorite resort pools on The Strip. Beautiful theming and most importantly, it was clean. Even though we were here for Labor Day weekend, the pool area did not feel overwhelming or crowded the both days we were here.
I've read some reviews about having seven pools here. But not quite. There's the circular pool, large rectangular pool (right across from the circular one), a C-shaped pool...this is a swim up bar and you can play blackjack and then there's two smaller squared size pool towards the back corners. Those are pretty away from the crowd....it's pretty quiet. So there's 5 pools I've listed. The remaining two (Baccus Pool) was closed to the public when we were there Labor Day weekend. I think those were for VIPs....the guests who stays in the Villas. (I could be wrong about that but those weren't open to the public). So technically.....you got about 4 pools to choose from. I don't really count the swim up bar a pool. It's pretty small to chill and spend your afternoon in.
My two favs were obviously the large rectangular and the circular pools. And yes, the water was pretty cold....even in 95+ degree weather.
This isn't the day club scene. People of all ages and sizes were here relaxing and having a good time. So don't feel body conscious here =) enjoy yourself, you're on vacation! Music was playing on the speakers but it wasn't blaring or obnoxious. Speaking of music, they played a lot of J. Lo, Mariah Carey and Britney Spears (duh....these women have show residency at a few Caesars Properties) so if you don't really like their music....it can get a bit annoying. Personally, I loved whatever they're playing on the speakers.
Food and beverages at Snackus Maximus were pretty good. It's pool food....don't expect too much but what we ordered was always correct and it was fresh. The waiting time for your food can take awhile (we waited about 7 minutes) during prime time lunch hour. So try to be patient.
Only reason why I knocked off one star was because we got an item stolen from us. It was just a pair of $10 sunglasses but still. Granted it was probably bad luck...wrong place, wrong timing but I find it odd that even though I've been to plenty of day clubs (crowds are usually pretty rowdy) and other resort pools, it was only at Caesars I got something stolen from me. Clientele not the greatest. Yes, you got people who can afford the fancy suites but then you also got those people who can only afford their basic classic rooms in the Julius Tower. All I'm saying is just really watch your stuff. I'm surprised that biat*h didn't steal my hair clip while she was at it. Oh well...she probably needed those sunglasses more than I did.
