I'm not sure why all the bad reviews. I just love this place. Been here twice - the bartenders are serious mixologists and I was really impressed by some of the cocktails. The first time I came here about a year ago was in the afternoon and it was really quiet. I ordered a manhattan and they make it just the way I like it. More or less 50/50 with Rittenhouse rye and Carpano Antica vermouth.
We just came back a second time which was at night around 10pm. There was no cover like others were saying. I ordered the Rosemary Amaretti which is incredibly impressive for it's originality, complexity, and it was really well-balanced. The prices are high but it's in the Aria and the cocktails are made my serious mixologists - so I rather expected this. The bartenders when they have time are also really friendly and will chat you up about cocktails and recommend bars they really like and enjoy on their off time. One of which is off-strip and amazing and we've been to twice now. At night it was louder but people were really into the music and dancing around a bit. The demographic skews hip - pretty much what you would see in the Aria in general.
