  • First let me say that the owner and cook is a real Italian, in fact he was born in Palermo, Sicily my mothers home town. We spoke to each other in Sicilian dialect and today in South Carolina that is very rare. The atmosphere is not fantastic, but they make up for it by serving good solid simple Italian cooking that tastes good and is very reasonably priced. We've eaten there twice and of course the first time was when they first opened and the wait was a little long, but I would chalk that up to first week disorganization. The second time the food came out fast and everything was great. Try the Tortellini Parlematiano which was made with zucchini and a great tasting sauce. Having eaten in quite a few Italian American places I would say in this price range its really the best in the greater Charlotte area! I recommend it! Con affetto!
