My experience at LAVO is the epitome of how you just need to straight up talk to the people who work there in order to get hooked up (pass to the front of the line, table & bottle service, etc etc etc). My boyfriend asked one of the bouncers outside if there was someone we could talk to about possibly getting bottle service on Thursday night during Halloween weekend. So we ended up getting hooked up with a table and bottle of Skyy vodka for under $200 for 3 girls and 2 guys.
At first, we were pretty pissed off because we got seated downstairs where it was really quiet and all the action was upstairs. But after about 10-15 minutes of debating on whether to stay or leave, we luckily got moved to a table upstairs. It was Latin night so most of the music we heard was Latin-based with a little hip-hop set in between. And because it was Latin night and there was a costume contest that might have been televised on telemundo (not sure though), it felt like we were in Mexico for one night instead of feeling like we were in Vegas... imagine that.
Because the overall space upstairs is pretty small, it's difficult to navigate your way to the bathroom on the left side of the room when the place is crackin'. Also the tables (along with the spaces between the tables) are pretty small/narrow so you're bound to have spilled drinks when you yourselves are drunk + the people around you are drunk, too. You never know because the girl you're making fun of who happens to be dancing near the DJ booth might just be the same girl who hella stumbles and falls onto your table, spilling all your mixers and knocking them off the table.
