I have been seeing Dr. Levine at Phoenix Neurological Associates for several years. I absolutely love him. He is the reason I gave this high of a rating. He is caring, concerned, and VERY knowledgeable. I have multiple kinds of neuropathy as well as an extensive and complicated medical history, all of which makes treating me extremely difficult. When I first started to see him he ordered an array of tests and we were actually able to get all my diagnoses lined up. He's always been willing to work around my other medical conditions and needs, and to try new paths if what we were doing wasn't working. I cannot say enough good things about working with him.
On the other hand, the non-medical office staff is far from up to par. His front desk routinely mis-schedules appointments, including appointments that MUST be booked at least a set amount of time apart. One time they screwed up my appointments so bad that I made a 5 hour round trip drive to be told it was too early for my appointment. The girls at the front desk often have a habit of chatting among themselves while patients are waiting to check in. Some of the back office administrative staff are very nice.
Bottom line - if you are looking for a doctor that is extremely competent and professional, I suggest Dr. Levine. However you are going to have to put up with one of the worst front office staffs out there.
(FYI - I am a former front office receptionist in a doctor's office.)
