| - RA is sort of like sushi for people who want to say they go to RA. I don't know how else to put that.
I came here for reverse happy hour the other night after not having been to RA in more than a year. I used to go to the RA on Mill Ave in college, but I have not really seen a need to go to RA since.
It is just OK. It is nothing special. It is a little overpriced for the quality, portion-sizes and service. The sushi is just... meh.
The one menu item I did enjoy quite a bit on my last visit was the Crispy Onion Albacore, which was 5 pieces of seared Albacore in a garlic ponzu sauce. It was pretty weird, though. There were no pieces of crispy onions on it, as indicated on the menu. There were only a couple wontons on top. Strange!
RA is a little too young, too funky, too not-so-me.
The clientele at this location seems to mostly be young twenties, but maybe that is because I have only been to this location after 7 p.m.
Still, on date night it is convenient to go to a movie and then the reverse happy hour, which is moderately priced. At least until Pita Jungle gets their reverse happy hour going next door, there's a chance you might see me at RA again.
