I've only ever been to one other official Gardens (Longwood Gardens near Philly), so I'm going to end up comparing Daniel Stowe to that.
I went during Christmas, but not at night so I didn't get to experience the full effect of all of the lights, but from what I saw, this place would be pretty neat at night.
There are a few gardens to walk through, nothing too expansive, but definitely well laid out and a great way to spend a nice afternoon. The Lost Hollow children's garden just opened in October and featured some neat features for kids. I really enjoyed the little cave where the ceiling is painted like a sky with suns & stars.
The Orchid Conservatory was gorgeous and had a neat fairy village set up inside. I have never seen orchids that pretty before.
Inside the main building had a gift shop which had some food items and many neat gift items.
Fun fact: while checking out their website for this review fact checking, I stumbled upon their master plan. They have a lot planned for this place and I'm excited to go back!
