Yes, I am a fan. I rode it during the day (when literally we were the only ones in the pod) and in the night time when there were people around to share the experience. For those with fear of heights, or better said, fear of falling -- this is a non-event. The scale of thing (as in it is so big and seemingly well built) on top of the slow movement means you really have no sensation that you are going anywhere.
It makes for a tranquil ride but on the downside perhaps a little too uneventful. Without the countdown on the screens when you reach the top you could literally miss being at the peak and if you were in deep conversation with someone you could actually miss the entire ride.
Like I started with -- I am a fan and I consider this a must do experience for those visiting Las Vegas but with that said I think they are going to be hard pushed to get a lot of repeat business for once you done it -- well, you have been there and done that without much draw to go back and experience it again.
