The only reason I would ever consider staying so far off the main strip is for EDC once a year. A group of us were travelling together and had reserved 3 rooms as our friend had fantastic standing with the Marriott Rewards program which means we got a discount, free breakfast and a few other perks.
We drove from LA to Vegas and arrived at the Hotel around 1am but there was a problem with the rooms and applying the reward points as our friend didn't bring a copy of the card and there was another verification process that had not been there the year before. It took almost an hour to check into our rooms plus we missed out on the free breakfast despite the fact the desk staff had assured him it was all sorted out.
My one bedroom apartment was really comfortable! Bed was beautiful and extremely spacious with separate living room. You don't get these rooms for the view so don't be disappointed when you look out onto a carpark and the corner of Circus Circus.
Restaurant downstairs had really tasty food and the 24 hour room service was incredible!
Honestly the only complaint we had was the difficulty applying our rewards perks at check-in and, again, at check-out. We also had to call the hotel after we left and get the parking fee refunded as they had charged us for 2 cars instead of 1.
