  • If Pirata was not on your must visit list, add it NOW! I know food...this was top notch throughout the whole dining experience from the food to the service and atmosphere. We chose the restaurant specially because of the unique menu but were surprised that we got right in without a long wait. We visited During the first Saturday Brunch and it was nothing short of spectacular. Definitely try the Chorizo tacos with fried egg, Larso Tacos and ALL of the empanadas, each was spectacular but our favorite was the Jamaican beef patty with a perfect blend of Caribbean spices. We had the opportunity to try the watermelon honey salad and ceviche trio that were both out of this world. The Chef Josh and Bob one of the owners stopped by and gave us great insights into the inspiration to the restaurant and history that made our visit very special. Lastly the bartenders were kind and unique and made this a really great place to spend an afternoon as a visitor in Pittsburgh, thank you!
