| - After you get over the lousy decor, the mediocre taste of food, the expensive and small beverages, and the 90s music played at an 80s retro night.... It was still a waste of a night.
To break it down; the boat looks like it could have been the May Flower, its so old. The food was nothing to write home about and didn't fill us up by any means (we used yelp to find us a place to get dinner after we docked).
Thirsty? A plastic cup of coke, mostly filled with ice, will run you $3, Then again, so will a bottle of water. And you kind of have to buy it or you'll end up dehydrating by the end of the night. Which by the way, feels like it would never come.
The music initially was way off from the 80s retro night it advertised. After dinner, about an hours time in, the music started and this part wasn't too bad. At least the music playing was from the 80s - the dj however could have been better. He wasn't very good at mixing at all. But hes working for a run-down boat, so I suppose I couldn't have expected much.
My advice- if you've never been on a dinner cruise before, it is kind of nice to go on the outside of the boat and look out at the water. Should try everything once in your life, but use a groupon if you're going to go. You'll thank me.
