  • I'm giving this place a firm 3 stars, considering Skating Rinks are a thing of past; you don't see new ones popping up or kids taking it up as a sport! I grew up in one back east and this one would have been "okay". As a young teen, I hung out religiously (after church, EVERY Sunday), we like to walk around the outside of the rink for a break, where there was also seating. Crystal Palace has a decent size rink, but not a lot of holding space. I attended a private party where it was just us and we brought in our own food and drink. It was the perfect size for our group; keeping us together to mingle vice being spread out and not interacting. The music was on point - top 40. Not sure if our organizer provided a play list or what.... I would certainly stop through again. I'll have to check to see if they have theme nights!
