This is a pretty different place depending on whether you go for Happy Hour or Dinner, but both deserve 4 stars.
This is easily one of the best happy hours we've been to in the Scottsdale area. I've been there twice and both times there has been a wait. I wish you could make reservations for the bar area for Happy Hour, but unfortunately that isn't possible.
Here's why the Happy Hour is so busy:
The service is outstanding, as are the deals.
The burger is incredible ... for $7 I don't think you can do better. Just don't get the onion rings ... it literally only came with 2 of them.
The drinks were strong and delicious. $3 for a beer and $6 for specialty cocktails. The Baked Brie and the Pork Belly appetizers were amazing.
As for dinner, everything was pretty delicious. Both steaks were very good, but mine had far too much seasoning.
We didn't like our server because she seemed to be pretty pushy in terms of upselling, but she could have been having a bad day. We also thought it was odd how often we saw the hostesses walking around checking on table progress. Usually at such a nice restaurant, they're not as concerned with table turnover.
it was pretty darn expensive overall, but that's to be expected with a steakhouse.
Overall, I would recommend Fleming's more for Happy Hour than dinner, but both are great.
Enjoy!
