  • I have been waiting patiently for this place to open and while driving by last week, I saw the lights on and dove in for a look. I decided to go in and give it a taste-test. I ordered 3 dishes, chicken katsu curry, pork katsu curry and the sausage curry. I was happy to discover this place was no "Hawaiian-like BBQ" serving a sad excuse for curry. The curry was full of flavor, texture appealing and reminded me of the standard I learned growing up in Hawaii. The katsu was seasoned perfectly and perfectly cooked. My only complaint (which really isn't a complaint) is the "Zero" level was still a little bit spicy. Not so much that it's unappetizing, but more than we were expecting. However, would I order it again? Absolutely! I just found my new favorite curry joint. And it's close to home, too! Think about take-out, the seating area is small. Service is happy and efficient fronting an open kitchen.
