First I would like to say that I wasn't going to write a bad review of this Super 8 because of the fact that the area it is in is depressed. That is that most of the businesses near it were empty buildings in poor repair.
But that changed as I found the staff didn't even try to make your stay a pleasant one.
First the room, it had a crack in the window and the screen was damaged. The door looked that it was broken into and that an inexperienced handyman tried to fix it. At the bottom of the door was what looked like the police used fingerprint dust on it and it was never cleaned.
The supplied hair dryer worked, but the supplied coffee maker didn't. We used our own coffee maker. But we used up the paper cups and had to find the cleaning lady to get more.
The shower curtain looked like the same handyman that worked on the door also fixed the curtain fixture.
Two of the three lamp shades were damaged.
Now to what made me decide to write this review, when we arrived there was about a quarter roll of toilet paper. By the second day that was gone. I called the office to have them bring me some. I was told that I had to come over and pick it up. I told them that in the first place, we should not have run out, and for $60.00 a night I expect it to be brought to me. I threaten to use the bead sheets, and the TP was delivered by a very upset man, who did not say a word to me.
This review may not make a difference as this Super 8 may disappear as the area it is in dies.
