  • Won't be back. Our party of 6 adults went here for breakfast last Saturday and I was disappointed. We had really bad service - the waiter brought about 1 oz of cream for 4 people to have in coffee. It's still ok to put cream in coffee, isn't it? Anyone?? After the rough start, it got worse. Forgotten drinks, cold food and I don't know what the other reviewers see in the grits. Homemade sausage was flavorless. Better choice for sausage biscuits and gravy: Zada Janes in Plaza Midwood. Better choice for cheese grits: Boudreaux's in NoDa (Sunday brunch. YUM.) To their credit, the manager of this place did the right thing when we brought our bad experience to his attention so I feel a little bad about posting this review. But the food, service and atmosphere just didn't live up to the reviews.
