  • I came in and had a full set done... SIX of my nails have lifted and/or fallen off before they'd even grown enough for me to need a fill. It's probably for the best because they looked AWFUL. One of the thumb nails is BARELY thicker than the plastic tip, while one of my index fingers was four times as thick. Extremely lopsided shape, the edges all have (or had? since they've mostly fallen off) lumps. The index finger that was ungodly thick was also a solid quarter inch longer than the other... Back when I was a kid I thought I'd be clever and buy a kit and learn to do my own acrylics with rather embarrassing results... these looked about like that. I came on the recommendation of a friend... but I wish I'd come and looked through the pictures and read the reviews here... I wouldn't have wasted my money. I will say that the techs working on girls behind me were very friendly and incredibly amusing... and the shop did look rather clean... but I still won't be going back. *edited to update* My girlfriend, who is the one who SWORE by this place went in for the first fill on a new full set... and... whatever they did... she broke two nails in the next twelve hours. One of them just by putting her hand into her purse
