  • This place is not without it's faults, there are numerous improvements that can be made. But let's start with what's good, like the BARGAINS!!!!! Hands down the best price on most things plus all the variety that you would expect of a ethnic grocery store. For anybody who's a fruit enthusiast this is the place to shop, mangosteen, durian, jackfruit, cactus pear, berries all at more than reasonable prices. I try to shop strictly in the fresh produce section and a few shelf stable spices and sauces necessary for Asian cooking. Seafood section has a great selection and sometimes really good deal on whole lobster!! Same with poultry, they always have whole free range chicken available for around $10. I do however try to avoid the meat here only because I've had two incidents where the beef tasted like it turned or was about to turn. The fruits and the price is what keeps me coming back here.
