| - To begin, I think this experience is worth it with say, a groupon for approximately half off or less. So, 4 stars with a good groupon deal.
While it is expensive and relatively brief, the groupon deal meant we were paying only about $15 per magazine, which given the nature of the weapons, and the inherent cost of ammo, seems pretty reasonable. All in all, I am glad I did it, and I certainly value the experience higher than some of the shows I've seen in Vegas.
Some complaints about the experience:
a) for safety, they brace you. For some customers, that seemed entirely unnecessary, but I understand.
b) more targets? Perhaps it's quicker this way, or some customers would prefer to have a bullet shredded target, but overall, I would prefer a target for each individual gun so I could try to aim and see how I was shooting.
c) some guns are prone to jamming, like the Desert Eagle and P90. Whether this is a trait of the design or the guns at the Gun Garage, I do not know.
Overall, the staff did seem very friendly, and were happy to move the targets farther back since the default range they use is pretty close.
You are probably going to have to wait a while - it probably was a solid hour from the time we arrived until we got to shoot, but given that watching other people shoot is entertaining in and of itself, it wasn't that bad.
