  • We requested a quote to do laminate flooring, about 1200sq/ft including stairs. The person that came out was nice enough, but not knowledgeable at all. They quoted us double what home depot did and all they could say is the way they do their stairs is better but couldn't explain how and their quote wasn't itemized so you had no clue what was what. Only service difference was Empire did the baseboard remove and install. And this was supposedly during a sale? They may do good for carpet according to the reviews, but for laminate an absolute rip off. I'll pass.
