| - Despite all the money they spend on those insipid commercials/ annoying 567-1111 jingles, my experience there in August 2016 was less than expected. I was in for an emergency and their "Vegas style" greeting and greeters dressed like hospitality workers [I am being diplomatic here] was not pleasing. Unprofessional, is a vast understatement.
The assembly line business model, greeters, escorts shouting out your first name only across the overcrowded lobby was a major client experience no-no. When I go to any business for ANYTHING related to my health, I want to feel like I have seasoned professionals and not trendy ex-Starbuck baristas waiting on me.
The actual dental professional buried amidst all the other "extras" was fine. He was a bit more traditional and could have earned my business.
Finally the "closer",as I called her, was this arrogant marketing person in the office to seal the deal. She was rude and even bragged that "I Have my teeth"! This was a reference to my missing tooth and therefore my reason for the visit. All the options were presented like at a car dealership. I was tired, distressed and ready to get out of their germ-y lobby [ someone brought in a very sick child] . It all added up to a very, very negative experience. I should have written sooner, but It would not have been this fair.
I see that many people like this place, but I will never EVER give them any of my business, and I will never ever recommend them going forward. Abbey Dental profitable because some people like what they are calling "service".
