So my 2015 F-150 was in a collision in July and my adjuster told me the best shop for it was New Look. I said if that's who she trusts then send it to them. It went to New Look on 7-25-16 and I did not receive it back until 9-24-16, yes that is 8 weeks for what I was told would be a 2-3 week job. Now they did a full frame replacement on the truck which was not expected on first review but it took them 2 weeks to even get it onto a lift to discover it needed a frame. My New Look contact was Derrick, I think that is the source of my problems as everyone on here says Mimi is the greatest. I only had a handful of updates and it always was proceeded by a call from me, I never had a picture texted or emailed to me as others on here have said they had that done every day. I did get alot of stories and broken deadlines from Derrick. I was promised the truck 3 Fridays in a row and something always came up. I was not a pain in the butt sometimes waiting 2 weeks to call to check on progress.
Having the truck done right with all the body lines aligned, no squeaks or rattles and ALL systems functioning obviously are the most important thing and they did do that for the most part. I do have a tiny oil leak and I will have Ford take a look at the next oil change. The horns sound way off but I do have a warranty from New Look and will have them address it next year as a bad sounding horn isn't that big of deal. The truck runs like it did new and all systems work. They did an amazing job on the body and paint matching, there is no sign it was ever wrecked.
Update, Paul called me right after posting this and told me to bring the truck in to check and fix the oil leak and since he has the exact make and model truck I have will pull the horns off his personal truck and will install them on my truck, THAT'S service. I live 3 hours away in Rachel Nevada so making multiple trips isn't what I want to do.
