Courtesy Chevrolet provided me with the worst car buying experience of my life. I was purchasing 2 new vehicles and received an great offer from Van Chevrolet but decided to shop around a bit more. I spoke with Chris and Dennis over the phone regarding the current deal that was proposed from Van Chevrolet and they promised that they could do better. Once at Courtesy Chevrolet, I was told "unfortunately we don't have the model you wanted that was offered at Van, however, we do have a model that is only around 8,000 more). I told them I was only interested in them beating the exact offer I received from Van Chevrolet, yet they continued to push. Eventually I had enough and decided to leave. I went to Chris to retrieve the keys to both of my vehicles (they were being appraised) and he informed me that my keys were locked in the rental box and I would have to drive the cars we test drove home and come back tomorrow! This is not only a horrendous sales tactic but is unethical. I told Chris to retrieve my keys immediately which took around 5-10 minutes of him pretending to go "get them out of the rental box" when in actuality they were sitting in the back office. Finally I was given my car keys back after minutes of them trying to get me to just "finish the deal".
I have since taken my business to Sands Chevrolet where the sales staff is ethical in their business practices and treats you with respect.
