  • I was looking for a great hole in the wall joint with some down home cooking and boy did I find it! The place is small and doesn't look like much as you pull up, but don't let the outside perception fool ya. From the time we walked in we were greeted with great hospitality. I could tell early on that we were in for a great experience and they delivered something even better... something we call a "red shoes experience." We arrived late in the evening not long before closing, but the staff was gracious and never showed any signs of it being an inconvenience. In fact, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to make sure we got the full experience. What a rare treat! They made sure we became guests for life! The food was phenomenal. We started with the pimento cheese and pretzels as well as the short ribs and grits. Wasn't sure they could be topped and then the meatloaf showed up. Then we capped it off with some amazing dessert. Great job by the entire team!!! See you again real soon!
