Worst experience went back there after 5 years of not donating. My last experience 5 years ago with the other facility on Broadway was also terrible and the reason I stopped going repeatably told the lady the needle was coming out she then forcefully moved it down further. So I thought recently I am going to give these places another try i bought a car and needed the extra cash. So I get there walked in they set me up with a computer. Then over an hour almost two hours there were two of us waiting the manager said oh I am so sorry we didn't know you guys were in here. I get into a room with a lady who by the way was a nice lady. She says your going to have to talk to my manager your on a deferral. She takes me into a room and starts asking me why it took me 5 years to come back and that it seems suspicious because someone probably called me already about being a deferral. I explained I had a baby and really had a terrible experience last time I was there. She then told me I needed to go back to the original place I donated.
. So then three hours later after being denied when I should have been told that when I checked in with the front desk. I get to the other location the man says you showed positive for hepatitis b and then your sample went to the lab and showed that you didn't have it but because of this you can't donate.... wtf really I never have had hepatitis b or c or any disease I had a child they ran test when I was pregnant they would have found it. I also give blood never have had problems. I feel it is really unfair if they tested it again and I never even had it...
