| - Market down in your diaries - you should visit Toronto in the winter.
Why? Well firstly because it's a gorgeous city and you can't really appreciate just what these locals have to go through until you visit when it's 20 below. Secondly, because it's very pretty in winter. And thirdly because the food is amazing anytime.
But also, the Christmas Market! It's a hell of a lovely experience. It's warmer than you'd think, because they use outdoor heaters or something. There are all kinds of outdoor stalls selling stuff, I don't know how those employees can stand being out in this weather, but they do it. They had it at the Distillery area this year, on Brick St, and the Bakery participated in it and my goodness they have some amazing fare. Lots to buy and browse and see and do, and tons of very good looking, well dressed, skinny people showing off how pretty and ethnically diverse and presentable Toronto is. A good experience all around, and a lot of friendly people too.
Bustling, and beautiful. I recommend it to all travelers around this time of year.
