| - My teenage daughters had been saving up their money for manicures for homecoming, and since one of them can drive now, I thought it would be good to send them on their own for the manicures. Had they gone to our regular salon, this would not have been a problem, but one of their friends wanted to go to her salon, so they came here. HUGE MISTAKE. My girls don't get manicures often, but I do, so I know what a good manicure looks like. The staff here blew off my girls because they were young, and they felt they could take advantage of shy, unassuming teenagers. My girls came come with the worst manicures I have ever seen.
The techs that did their manicures didn't bother cutting their nails symmetrically, so one hand is longer than the other on both girls. The polish is thick and sloppy. One girl's nails are wrinkled from thickly applied nail polish, and the polish either extends past the nail bed. These manicures were $31 (plus tip), and they won't last a week. The worst thing about the whole experience, though, was that all the girls came home totally upset because on male tech literally yelled at my daughter to move her hands in and out of the UV lights. She is not experienced with manicures, and she doesn't speak the tech's native language. The very least he could have done was treat this young customer with a modicum of respect. Way to ruin a highly anticipated first homecoming dance. We will NEVER be back, and make sure all our friends know how highly unprofessional this place is.
