Sadly we live in Columbus where bagels suck. But Pgh had the big duck floating in the river so it was a great excuse to drive into the burgh, my home town of too many years ago. I had a couple of groupons and this place is conveniently located across from the Carnegie Museum which remains a favorite. We came around 2Pm and placed an order of 4 dozen bagels. We were waiting on by Mr Beautiful Tattoo arm who had never done a groupon before and was worried about doing it correctly at the register. He was so apologetic as he asked someone for help. Mr Ben Avon came over to help. The two of them were so friendly but then that has always been my experience with the incredibly friendly people in Pittsburgh. I put an incredible dent in their supply but not a word was said and we were sent out the door with a smile on our faces. I was surprised to read about people who had less than satisfactory customer service. My hometown has always had the friendliest people in the world and this place was no different.
