Went here for my birthday in the hopes of reliving some great fondue experiences I had in Switzerland. Since I'm a vegetarian and also wanted "cheese as a meal" for my birthday, my friend and I decided to order two cheese fondues and skip the "meals". The cheese selections were great but the dippers were left to desired. The bread was overall a bit stale and crusty. The pretzel bread was good though. The "veggies" really left a lot to be desired. A few broccoli, carrots, celery and tomatoes. Really?? A tomato? Not what I normally associate with fondue. The waiter (who was awesome by the way!) was kind enough to scrounge up some mushrooms for our next round but it really seems like that should be a staple already.
We decided to splurge for a dessert round of chocolate fondue. The chocolate was nice but it felt like it could have been thicker. The sweet treats that came with for dipping were nice but I would have preferred more fruit.
Overall I'd say while the actual cheese fondue was good, the items to dip in it left to be desired. I do hope in the future they consider adding more fruits and veggies to the mix, until then I may just invest in a fondue pot of my own.
