  • THE best place, bar none, for buying used and vintage guitar gear in Ontario. Staff are disinterested and bordering on rude, but are extremely knowledgeable. The store is crowded and dingy. Yadda yadda yadda. Who cares? This is not Steve's. This is a place for serious musicians to buy serious (or oddball) instruments. This is not a good place to buy your kid his first guitar. But if you are a guitaraholic, Capsule is THE place to go. They also carry some uber-cool new stuff, such as Eastwood and Reverend. My only criticism is their acoustic selection in the back room, which is pretty sparse and mostly stocked with budget guitars. I guess they figure there is no point trying to compete with 12th fret. On the other hand, I have seen some real bargains.
