| - Got a Group-on for a 45 minute couples massage...why not?!
So, to begin with, this place isnt the easiest to find. You have to walk upstairs before you get to the massage place. When you walk in, there isnt too much to look at. A few massage chairs, a room for the couples massage area.
We were told to fill out a paper that had our medical history. I had written that I have had sciatica/sciatic nerve issues in the past. Then, when I handed it in, and we were instructed to go into the couples room. I reiterated that I had sciatic nerve issues, so if they could just be careful in the lower back hip area...because it can get aggravated/re triggered. The lady at the desk said "yeah, okay" but I got the feeling she didnt speak English too well.
The massage. They send you to this room which isnt much to look at, then they drape the sheet on you and they start rubbing you down. It is very enjoyable! they have Asian themed music playing and they have heating pads that they also place on your back, and then around your feet.
Sadly, they got to my sciatic nerve and rubbed the hell out of it. I couldnt move after. Like my husband had to help me down the stairs, and then sitting was painful for 3 days. Anyway, the other parts of my back felt lovely.
