  • BE VERY AWARE , Looks as if this company possibly goes by different DBA,s GDI Garage Doors, Anytime Garage doors, Gold Coast, Sun City ect....... Based in Las Vegas, but hire contractors in different states....You may want to look up your company thorough before hiring!!!!! They looked as if possibly could be or were affiliated with Seacoast Garage Doors in Whittier?. Its a possibility the positive reviews could of been cleaned up for fake reviews from what I've read.....all of different company names to try to possibly try, to escape the negative things they seemed to have possibly done to other customers looks like. It looks like they might be hiring sub contractors from all over. I purchased their garage door opener they recommended, the tech from Anytime Garage Doors came out in the process damaged my deck above in the garage botching it with two big holes that was totally uncalled for to place the box for the opener. I asked him to please repair it since he never let me know he was going to leave a mess like that. He refused to patch it up. He refused to leave the property he called the owner or his boss Joe, and was he the most rude unprofessional person to me, and my friend that tried to resolve this. Since he refused to patch his large unsightly holes, I asked him to then leave he refused. I actually had to call the police to get this guy off of my property!!!!! Then I received a call from MICHAEL POTTER the manager..... He apologized, and "said this shouldn't have gotten this far, please work with me, I'll send a rep out to repair the holes the tech made. So, trying to just put this behind me I gave him a chance to make it right...... Hugest mistake I made ever!!!!! He finally sent a new tech that filled the holes, but said he needed to fix, and take the opener down as well to reposition it in another location since it was a poor job not placed correct. Fast forward a little over two weeks went by, and I was backing out of my garage, and the opener malfunctioned lowering down almost mid way then stopping after it hit the my new car damaging the top of it as you can see in the pictures. Sent an email to Micheal Potter telling him the event, and he will not take responsibility under my warranty nor pay for the damages from his new most likely faulty equipment that damage to my vehicle. The installation had seemed as if it were not properly installed. I had more problems, and friction from the owner, and MICHAEL though it's too much to write. It looks as if we have major evidence against them, which will be disclosed at a later date......stay tuned....
