  • Great choice but Wynn would be a better option with exception to the pool. This is the addition to Wynn as the name suggests. I think it was designed well for what it is - a supplement to the main resort yet can still stand alone in almost every way with small exceptions. The rooms and ambiance and decor are all top notch. Pool the best around. Wynn has a better location to shops next door and across the street. Encore will most likely be a longer walk no matter where your going. If the price between Encore and Wynn is similar go with Wynn. Other similar options to explore are Bellagio and Palazzo. Perhaps you just want the most expensive, posh, sterile boutique hotel. Nobu at Caesars, Skylofts at MGM, or the Mandarin Oriental might be contenders for you to further research. Wynn is really built from the inside out. Be sure and step foot inside before you judge it. Bellagio for the record seems to be built from the outside in with all the eye candy that is the lake/fountain up front. I tend to prefer the hotels that were never added on to. In my mind Bellagio went down a notch with their added on tower - the perfect flow was wrecked along withe the beautiful stairway that countless newlyweds utilized as the backdrop to their prized wedding photos. Every resort has their strong points. Try each and see what you like best.
