Spent all day today being Monday February 20th trying to finance a 2006 honda shadow advertised for $1999.00 on the internet. I initially offered $1,000 down and asked them to carry the rest. First was told that their finance companies did not want to carry because of the bikes age and tried to sell me something else. I said no, my girl wants the shadow. Then was told finance company wanted a co-signer and I said how about 1,400.00 down and you carry the rest in house. Ryan says we don't do that. I said ok. Will you let the bike go for 2,000 cash. Now keep in mind that my credit report has just taken 3 hard hits and all of a sudden I receive the above e-mail from ryan saying bike was sold 2 days before.*** What kind of scam are they running? Just checked and ad for shadow is still up. I am a senior citizen and this guy tried to take advantage of me. This is wrong in so many ways. Will consider looking at legal options. Beware of their tactics. Bait advertising. As of February 21st @ 7:00am. bike in question is still listed as stock UH2644, 2006 HONDA SHADOW SPIRIT $1999.00. February 21st @ 6:00pm bike in question is still listed as being for sale under pre-owned bikes at Craig location. Saving time stamped add for future reference.
