Echo's more laid back cousin. You hike to the same camel head but you don't need to pack your gloves- the only semi gnarly part is at the tip top before you reach the summit. It's a long trail and not too be taken light heartedly. Pack plenty of water. No bathrooms at the trailhead. The trailhead is in a neighborhood and the parking takes place on the street. It feels weird to complain about walking far when your going hiking but you do have to hike to get to the hike. And apparently rain doesn't detour hikers. My friend and I went today and it started to down pour on our way down and the hikers were still happily continuing up. The rocks did get quite slippery. Dogs were once allowed but leave your furry friends home because they have since been banned. I love this 'easier' side of camelback.
