I live nearby so I walked here for a new pair of running shoes when my old Nikes started to get holes in them. I went with my friends who told me I had to try the thing where they have you run on the treadmill and analyze your gait to see what kind of shoes you need. It was pretty cool. The sales associate helped me find a good pair of running shoes for my budget. I ending up purchasing a pair of Asics from the clearance section for about $60. I have big feet, so I usually have luck finding things on sale. I was content because I know a lot of shoes in there are way more expensive. They didn't have much selection to choose from in terms of women's shoes though. I wish they had more choices that weren't pink and purple. The pair I happened to buy are dark purple and lime green, which I actually like. I've been wearing them for about seven months or something and they're holding up well and they're super comfortable for walking and running. If I remember correctly, the associate told me they have a return policy that allows you to try the shoes outside and take them for a test run and you can still return them if you don't like them. That's pretty cool. My partner also got her shoes from here way before me. She got a pair of men's shoes that she loves. I was a little jealous of her color choices in the men's section. The guy told me that because of my feet shape and the way I run that I shouldn't get men's shoes. Bummer. Anyway, I'll definitely go back next time I need replacement shoes. I would just like to see better color choices in the women's section in the future. They know what your feet need to keep them happy when you're moving.
