  • Bubble tea has been popular in Square One. It has at least 3 options within it's halls and Real Fruit offers a different spin on it. Unlike Coco or Ten Ren, this one says it's made with real fruit. For once, they didnt lie. I've been to a few Real Fruit around GTA and most have been lacklustre. It's either slow and terrible service or poorly made drinks with barely any fruit... worse, it's both. This location seems to have it together with service and quality. I'm quite happily surprised. The line up on a Friday early evening wasn't too bad. It was at the edge of the store but it was a quick moving one. There was maybe 7 other people who had ordered already or ready to put one in. As we waited to order, I could see at least one person constantly dedicated to cutting new fruit up ... we're talking TONS of mangoes being cut up and used here. The other 2 were focused on taking the order and making the drinks. I would say that they were pretty fast considering other places sometimes had 5 people behind the counter. The place is not too big and I think it's mostly take out but if you want, there are a few tables in the back to sit down and drink. It's mostly used for people while they're waiting for their drinks. With the crazy amount of drinks being ordered, I had to admit nothing was a mess behind the counter. It was pretty neat and orderly. I have to admit it was unexpected. Their menu is pretty interesting as it has fruit based drinks and smoothies (real ones!) in addition to the typical black tea ones. Seeing how everyone was ordering a smoothie or slushie, this is probably the best ones and stick to the left side of the menu. Mango Diamond Slush - Looking at my cup, I saw the bottom quarter just cubes of mangoes.. happy? Oh yes. This is by far the most I've seen in any cup and I just seen them cut up 5 mangoes to be used. This is as fresh as you can get. I do have to laugh a bit when I saw the diamond mango slush showing the bubbles in it as if it's included... please note, it's not. It's an extra $0.70 ... not much but it feels a little deceiving that it looks like it's part of it. The drink itself is quite rich and creamy with all the well blended mangoes and ice. It is a touch sweet but I think thats from the boba itself. Overall, it is an expensive cup but honestly one of the better ones in mall and possibly Mississauga. 4/5 Strawberry Banana Slush - Another fruit based drink that actually tasted like the fruit instead of some sugary frozen concentrated version. I liked how you can taste the bananas and strawberries. It's a bit richer than the mango slush and I think it's cause of the banana. I think the bananas made this one on the sweeter side in addition to the boba so if you like your slushies sweet, this would be a good choice. 4/5 You really cant go wrong with this spot and even if there is a crazy amount of people lined up, know that the line moves quickly and you'll get your well made drink in no time.
