  • I hope the owner reads the good reviews too, and not just the bad ones lol. I don't understand why this place isn't busier. I've only eaten here once, but my fiance and I frequent the pho restaurant next door and the parking lot seems to always be empty here.. Myself, my fiance, and a friend strolled in around 5pm one a weekday and were literally the only people in the place. (At first I thought they were only open for dinner and had just opened, but then noticed they are actually open for lunch as well.) We sat in the dining room, which is beautiful!! Very classy and inviting. Our server (who was also the bartender) was very attentive and accommodating. After we came in, she had 5 other tables consecutively come in (sitting in the dining room and bar area) and she handled it beautifully, without neglecting us in the process. I'm a bartender also, and for her to handle all that on her own without being in the weeds is pretty impressive. Especially since there was no food runner. Our friend ordered ribs with mashed potatoes, corn bread (I think) and veggies. Fiance had spicy seafood pasta. They both loved what they had. I love this place because the menu is huge!! I'm a vegetarian, so I'm used to maybe having 3 options to choose from, one of which is a salad, and the other two being a meat dish that I have to modify. Not the case here!! SOOO many options it was hard to decide. I went with the cucumber salad and a vegetable quesadilla without the tortilla. Salad was fresh and delicious. Since I ordered the veggie quesadilla without the tortilla, I just expected a bowl of vegetables with some shredded cheese thrown in (which would have been fine), but the chef loaded it with cheese, I guarantee gave me more veggies than would have come in it the regular way, and baked the whole dish. It was AMAZING. The fact that it was automatically made that way without me asking was even better. And... IT'S CHEAP!! You wouldn't guess it based on the decor, but it is very reasonably priced. We live down the street and will DEFINITELY be returning to try more stuff. I have recommended it to all my industry people to hopefully get them some more business!
